The faculty of veterinary aims to : 
- Prepare qualified trained professional graduates with experience in the veterinary medical sciences to maintain and develop livestock, poultry and fish resources and who are capable of competing in the local and regional labor market.
 - • Prepare graduate students who are able to solve field problems of livestock, poultry and fish at the local and regional levels. -
 Prepare high professional cadres of Staff members to advance the profession of veterinary medicine and contribute to solve the field problems. - •Continuing training for graduates to improve their academic and professional level.
 - Provide consultations and scientific expertise in various specialties of veterinary medicine, which needed in the private as well as the governmental research and production sites.
 - Encourage investment in the animal production field through study programs and training courses that encourage the youth to invest in this type of investment and create job opportunities
